An unique opportunity to help kids learn to network, November 11, 2009
Ivy Link will join the Opportunity Network at the “Speed Networking” event on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, at the offices of Skadden Arps. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us. Spaces fill up quickly!
Modeled after speed dating, the event presents an opportunity for Opportunity Network students to apply the networking skills they have been learning and meet professionals who work in the fields that they are learning about and/or interested in pursuing. It is also a fun and engaging way for the professionals to meet Opportunity Network students.
Students and professionals will spend the hour talking in pairs and small groups. Students will be rotating every few minutes so that each student has an opportunity to speak with each volunteer. Refreshments will be served.
